This petition, signed by more than 200 Boston Globe colleagues, was presented to BGMP president Vinay Mehra on May 7, 2019.

We the undersigned express our disappointment at the company’s attack on the basic rights under our existing contract: the right to overtime; the right to seniority; the right to file a grievance when management violates the contract; the right to a wage scale; the right to fair severance; and even the right to protect our jobs from outsourcing. This petition is a declaration of our unwavering resolve to keep our voice in the workplace and get a fair contract.
